The follwing was sent by Wes Mays. Email Wes This is of the family of Joseph Thomas Mays and (wife) Laura Ann Alford. Their son (upper left) is Clarence Hunter Mays. The names of the daughters are Lillian, Annie, Ruby, and Ethel. I would like to have the girls identified....since I do not know which is one is which. Clarence Hunter Mays was born in 1875, so I'm guessing this photograph was taken about 1900-1910. Clarence married Emilie Hoffmeister (1906) and this photograph as probably taken by the Hoffmeister studio in Columbus.

"I was born and raised in Columbus...my grandparents moved there in 1893. My grandfather was an engineer with C & G Railroad until he retired..These old pictures came from his home when my grandmother passed away in 1960...some had names on them and some didn't... I believe that most of these people were connected to the railroad ..they (pictures)are probably 90 to 100 years old...I would really like to find family members to give them to."
